Grief Step By Step: New Podcast, New Co-Host

Hello Reader,

Grief is not something I believe we are meant to navigate alone.

It is relational. It unfolds in conversation, in reflection, and in being witnessed.

And over time, I realized that I no longer wanted to be having these conversations by myself.

So I want to introduce you to Amanda Palermo, who is joining me as the new cohost of the Mindfulness & Grief Podcast.

Amanda has been part of my world for a long time. She is a member of Awaken, walked her own path through grief, and recently completed the Mindfulness & Grief Coach Certification.

Our first episode together is called Grief Step by Step: How the Mindfulness & Grief System Helps After Loss.

In it, we talk about why I developed a system in the first place, not to control grief, but to give people something steady to return to when everything feels overwhelming.

If you’ve ever wondered what to do with grief when support alone isn’t enough, this conversation is a place to begin. You can subscribe to the podcast wherever you like to listen, or use the links below:

Whether you listen now, later, or simply hold this as an invitation, I want you to know how grateful I am that you are here.

With lovingkindness,

P.S. I would love to hear what you think about our conversation! Just hit reply once you listen and share your thoughts.

Many people think mindfulness means clearing the mind or forcing ourselves to stay calm. In grief, that can feel impossible. Mindfulness is not about having fewer thoughts. It is about learning how to see them more clearly. 🎧 Listen here: Episode 60: From Rumination to Wisdom (or search for Mindfulness &...

Hello Reader, Last week in the Monthly Living With Grief webinar, we spent time with a practice that felt especially right for this season. I led a shorter version of my Journey to Your Heart Center meditation, and it was powerful to witness. Valentine’s Day can stir up a lot. Even if you tell yourself it is just another day, the imagery is everywhere. Hearts. Romance. Partnership. It can feel like the world is highlighting what is no longer physically present. Your nervous system notices....

Hello Reader, I’m so excited about the next Mindfulness & Grief Coach Certification, and I wanted to reach out personally with a brief update. If you support others through grief in any capacity, professionally or personally, this training is designed for you. We already have a beautiful cohort forming, including grief professionals, yoga teachers, and others who feel called to support people through loss with presence, care, and skill. At this point, only 5 of the 24 spaces remain. Tuition...
